Hook ’em and Cook ’em

If you’re coming out for Labor Day, you don’t want to miss Hook ’em and Cook ’em at Navy Beach in conjunction Barcelona Wine Bar on September 6.  This dock-to-dish inspired cooking competition and private dinner at one of the south fork’s favorite beachside dining destinations is truly an authentic Montauk experience.

Guests are invited to join 14 Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant chefs from across the country, along with James Beard Award winner Christopher Lee, at Montauk’s Navy Beach.

Using their respective ‘catch of the day’ (including fluke, striped bass, and bluefish), the chefs will prepare a family-style meal that includes seafood, beer, and wine from local partners Amber Waves Farm, Dock to Dish, Montauk Brewing Company, and Paumanok Vineyards. Diners will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite course. An assortment of appetizers will also be provided by Navy Beach. Portions of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.
