This week at Claude’s at the Southampton Inn, I asked Chef Deb Gangale if she had any insider dishes she could share with me (so I could share with you). She tells me the top secret dish is their Lobster Club. It is not on the menu, but they’re happy to make it for those in the know that request it.
The Lobster Club is a glorious marriage between lobster salad and a BLT. The saltiness of the bacon is a delicious pairing for the buttery and creamy lobster salad. It is the perfect insider’s “secret” to enjoy outside in the garden on a gorgeous summer day. -Chef Deb Gangale
Claude’s is known for using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Famous for their breakfast and lunch, in season, they are open from 7am-7pm daily. The offer indoor seating, but eating al fresco in the garden is the way to go. The Southampton Inn has been a local landmark for three generations. Set on acres of beautiful grounds, they are located in the heart of historic Southampton Village. Within walking distance of some of my favorite shops and galleries. They have 90 guest rooms, making them the largest inn in Southampton. They’re still one of the coziest places to stay.
