I recently had the opportunity to speak with Andrea Fornarola, CEO and Master Trainer at Elements Fitness in East Hampton. As a professional dancer and former trainer at Physique 57, Andrea began training private clients and developed her signature formula founded in the barre technique.
Elements is open year round but Andrea also travels to offer corporate fitness and private options. She will use whatever is available in your environment. She can create a full workout with resistance bands, mats, even on a playground. Her 55 minute classes systematically work the body, from the upper body, down through the quads, glutes and abs, all set to upbeat music that varies from trainer to trainer. She tells clients to “embrace the burn.”

This summer Andrea launched 25 minute express classes in the afternoons, for those days when you’re booked back to back. They’re called Express AF (a play on her name, but I really want that t-shirt!). Andrea swears by eating sporadically through the day, and loves her RX bars. She gets her ice coffee from Carissa’s Bakery and loves her athlesiure wear from Carbon 38.

Surf Lodge Sundays
Every Sunday starting July 8th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Get Toned AF this Summer 2018 at The Surf Lodge at 183 Edgemere St. in Montauk, NY. The 50-minute class every Sunday, is an extended version of the Toned AF Express series, based on Elements™ signature toned formula applying principals from Ballet conditioning and Pilates core work. Doubling the length of the Toned AF Express session, fitness lovers will torch more calories when fusing ultra-isometric exercises and intense interval training. Members of the Surf Lodge are permitted to join without charge, but all are welcome at the cost of $30 every Sunday.
Every Thursday starting July 12th, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Elements Fitness Studio promises fit fun as the sun sets during the weekly Sunset Paddle series in collaboration with water sport company, East End Explorer. Bask in the glowing sun as it sets on the Northwest Harbor during the 90-minute session.
Full Moon Paddle

Coinciding with the upcoming full moon, Andrea Fornarola welcomes clients and newcomers for a Full Moon Paddle at the beautiful Northwest Harbor. The unique 90-minute paddle session combines Element’s signature Barre exercises with challenging Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) techniques.
